  1. I love the acting categories. They are my favorites so this was a delight to browse. I really want to dig deeper into your blog and read all of your acting pages. You should also release your nominees for each year, considering that there is always so much to love. I contemplated only posting winners on my blog, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't even do just my nominees, which is why I have the Fisti Dozen :-D

    1. I've considered posting ballots, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I don't really want to post several together because it's tough to scroll down a long post. And posting one year at a time would take forever. I might post them though. Maybe I'll take a picture of each category's winner and list the other nominees on it, then combine all of those category pics into one image. I could post ten images and do a decade at a time. That would expedite those posts. Hmmm...perhaps.

Also, if you're going through my acting winners, did you know that they're all organized with links on the Decades page at the top? Just a heads-up in case you didn't know.

    2. Yeah, I know that my Fisti Pages are a bear to scroll through, and I wanted to post a page per year, but I'm only alloted ten pages...so that would be over and done with far too soon for me. But yeah, I'd scroll through a page if you decided to do that. I'd love to see your acting ballots!

    3. I might just do that. Perhaps I'll get started on that over the weekend. I'm also considering doing a top 50 or top 100 performances of all time list.

If I do my ballots, these picks might change slightly, but you can see my 2000s acting lineups right here: http://classicblanca.blogspot.com/2011/10/2000s-my-ballots.html

  2. Those are awesome stats! I probably couldn't do this myself as I haven't seen enough movies made prior to 1990s, the best I could do is probably best pciture :)

  3. Lesley Manville was made to work with Mike Leigh, good choice.

I've recently discovered Richard Burton myself and he's yet to put a foot wrong as far as I ca see.
