  1. I did pretty good with these, surprisingly. I predicted 15 correctly and had the rest as alternates, except Supporting Actor, which I bombed (did anyone really see that coming, but seriously...I almost cried I was so happy for him).

    1. Nice job. I totally misread some of these categories. I was so happy for Abdi too!

  2. Hi Josh! I didn't bother making any predictions, but I'm writing my comments on the BAFTA winners now. I REALLY wanted Sally Hawkins to win Best Supporting Actress, I think that's my biggest disappointment of the year, more so than Daniel Brühl not winning... yet again! [sigh]

    1. Hey Ruth! I still wish Sally Hawkins had won for Happy-Go-Lucky, which she wasn't even nominated for. :(

  3. BAFTAs are insane, aren't they? Every year they have really strange nominations and wins. I don't think Abdi deserved that win, but man that was sure a lovely award ceremony moment.

    1. Yeah, but they have some awesome choices too, like In Bruges winning Best Original Screenplay. I agree on Abdi's win. It was a very nice moment, even if I wouldn't even nominate him.

  4. More and more I'm getting the feeling that Fassbender is going to be shut out. Hate it because I thought he was incredible in "12 Years". Still don't get Lawrence over Nyong'o!

    1. I also prefer Nyong'o, and I hope she wins the Oscar. Sadly, I haven't predicted a Fassbender win for months. It would be amazing if he won, though.
