  1. I should watch Rocco and His Brothers sooner rather than later, it's even on my blind spot list.
A high number of rewatches, I guess they are easier to handle when you weren't feeling well?

    1. Oh, you should give it a look then. Be warned: it's about 3 hours long.

Yeah, I watched several of those in the first few days of my recovery.

  2. You saw Beau Geste!!!! I'm so glad you loved it. Where would it land in your 1939 lineup?

    1. #2 behind The Rules of the Game. Just barely, but enough to place second. Oh, and I'd give it Best Film Editing. I'll have to update my post.

  3. Glad to see I was not the only one who thought Spring Breakers was not just a T&A fest.

I got to remember to keep a monthly list going I always like this feature.

    1. It's my first 4-star film of 2013. :)

Letterboxd makes it easy to keep up with my monthly viewings. You should try that. (I don't think you're on there, right?) Glad you like this feature.

  4. Aww, sorry you didn't like The Fall more! I'll definitely see Spring Breakers once it's on DVD.

    1. I loved the visuals, costumes and Lee Pace's performance, but the overall film was a bit disappointing. Yay! Hope you like it!

  5. Oh you saw A Good Year, that film is quite under-appreciated but glad you gave it a decent rating! I need to watch more Alain Delon movies :D

    1. I LOVE A Good Year, and have ever since it first came out. Not enough to give it a perfect rating, but it's one of my favorite modern rom-coms. Crowe, Cotillard, the supporting cast, the French countryside, that wonderful score... what's not to like? :)

Rocco was my first Delon film, so I'm not far behind you.

  6. Some great picks in there. From your new watches, The Killing and From Dusk Till Dawn are my favorites (out of what I have seen).

    Welcome back, BTW!
