Just how many nods can American Hustle score? |
Right now, it's the calm before the storm. The nominees are in less than four weeks, and many categories appear to be solidifying. Since my last predictions, the music, makeup, visual effects, documentary feature, and foreign language film categories have been narrowed down. Also, American Hustle has arrived as a viable contender. Saving Mr. Banks seems to have lost some momentum, but the guilds could show some support in January. Though The Wolf of Wall Street seems almost dead, BAFTA and the guilds could prove otherwise. Of course, Gravity and 12 Years a Slave are still out in front, with a potential Best Picture/Director split in the works.

I think if anyone gets from Wolf it's gonna be Leo instead of Redford, but it would be awesome if Jonah got nominated again :)
ReplyDeleteI could see that happening. Or I could see Wolf missing entirely. :/ Hill looks great, but I'm hoping DiCaprio will get in at least.
