  1. Sherlock is great, isn't it? I recently watched the first 2 seasons, and I loved the intelligent writing and the dynamics between the two main characters. Plenty of memorable lines, too. "I left my riding crop in the mortuary." :-D

There are many films on your list I'm excited about seeing, especially A Separation, The Master, and Looper.

    Great round-up post!

    1. Thanks! I LOVE Sherlock. Eagerly awaiting Season 3. The writing is obviously very important to its success, but Cumberbatch and Freeman make the show even better. Their interactions are so much fun. :)

      Hope you enjoy those films.

  2. Shit, I saw 10 movies that includes rewatches :) And yet with so few movies I still forgot to watch 25th Hour, I wonder if I'll ever come around to seeing that. So jealous you already saw The Master and Looper!

    1. Haha. Don't forget 25th Hour. It's a must. If it helps, 25th Hour is better than The Master and Looper. ;)

  4. First of all, I envy you watching 50 odd movies/month.
If I am not wrong, you are talking about Audrey Hepburn Love in the Afternoon right ? It's a nice little movie but I am still surprised to find it in top 10. I am Happy.
How were The Birds and Doctor Zhivago in theater ?

    1. Haha. Tyler at Southern Vision always manages to see even more than I can in a month. :)

Yeah, I'm talking about the Hepburn film. I loved it. It will be on my top 100 list when I update it in the next week or two.

The Birds and Doctor Zhivago were fantastic in theaters. I forgot how creep The Birds was, and how beautiful Zhivago was. I was also reminded of how great Suzanne Pleshette (Birds) and Julie Christie (Zhivago) were. If you ever get a chance to see them on the big screen, I highly recommend it, especially Zhivago.
