  1. Josh, it's great to see the Japandroids on your list. That's easily one of my favorites of the year and will be making an appearance on my list for sure. The Fiona Apple album is also great.

  3. Interesting choice for number 1, I'm a big fan of Air, though I didn't love their most recent as much as you did. My fav tracks from that are Moon Fever and Seven Stars. The disc grew on me a bit more once I saw a compilation with images from B&W film A Trip To The Moon:

ps Forgot about that Goldfrapp release, might add their new single to my upcoming top 100, thanks for reminding me!

    1. The album really grew on me over the course of the year. LOVE those tracks you mentioned. Yeah, I have a DVD of that compilation, but I haven't watched it yet. I will soon though.

You're welcome! The Singles is one of my favorite compilation albums. Great tracks from start to finish.

  4. Big fan of that Jack White album. One of my favorites from this year as well.

Also nice to see some recognition for Air's new album. I haven't fallen in love with it like most of their discography, but it does seem to have been gravely overlooked by most this year.

    1. It's a shame Air's new album has been forgotten already. For me, it only grew better as I listened to it throughout the year.

  5. Kind of off-off-topic but did you see Norah Jones in My Blueberry Nights yet?

I like that music lists seem to have popped up on film blogs recently, makes me feel like i'm not way off base when I put up my reviews and mixtapes. On that subject did you get a chance to discover anything new from my cuckoo clock shop mixtape in december?

    1. Yeah. Liked her performance, and the film. Want to rewatch it, eventually.

Not sure if I'll do more than a yearly top 10 albums list, unless I do a list for the first half of the year.

Doh! Missed that, so I just skimmed through it. I really like the tracks from Pull In Emergency, Blood Red Shoes, The Kabeedies, General Fiasco, Hello Bear, Lady Fortune, Boat To Row, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Elephants, Taking Back Sunday, and Man Overboard. Oh, and The Decemberists are a huge blind spot for me, which I need to change. I'll definitely check out more of their music. Thanks for that! :)
