Plenty of stuff to look forward to! Great to see Before Midnight in first place. Wish I was at Sundance for that. Oh well (:
ReplyDeleteI'll have to give Sin City a watch, before that sequel arrives.
Counting the days to the next S Coppola soundtrack/movie.
Frances Ha is another unmissable of 2013 for me.
You too, thanks for a good year of blogging!
Me too, Chris! I'd love to be there.
DeleteYeah, that picture is actually from Sin City, but those characters (and actors) are returning for the sequel.
Oh, forgot about Frances Ha. It wouldn't have made my top 20, but I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks, Chris!
Haha that photo from the Wolf of Wall street cracks me up - it's like Leo is stopping cars with his mind :D That one is definitely my most anticipated movie of 2013.
ReplyDeleteHa! :) I'm hoping it's another Oscar contender, but I'm not sure what to make of some of the photos of the cast.
DeleteBefore Midnight! Nice! I can't wait for that one. I also didn't realize that John Carney had a new film coming out in 2013. This is looking to be another great year for movies.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Dan. Can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for movies.
DeleteRyan Gosling looking all serioused. I still need to see Drive *hides* I'VE SEEN BRONSON THOUGH!
ReplyDeleteHells yeah for Star Trek!
Interesting with The Man of Steel - Superman fan or Zach Snyder fan?
WHA?? That needs to be one of your New Year's resolutions. :)
DeleteSuperman fan. I'm hoping Snyder delivers, based on the trailers.
I won't lie to you, I have given up paying attention to what is months and months ahead of me but man, seeing your list fills me with all kinds of cinematic anticipation.
ReplyDeleteAnd I forgot Malick's To the Wonder and his other film (or 2?) that might be released this year!
DeleteLove it. Before Midnight!!! Star Trek!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! So. Pumped.
DeleteMan of Steel tops my list of most-anticipated! As for The Great Gatsby, I was so looking forward to it last year, too bad it got bumped!
ReplyDeleteYay! Not only does it have Russell Crowe, but the trailers make it look awesome!
DeleteI'm still interested in Gatsby, but it's fallen since I've seen the trailer probably 15 times. ;)
Thanks for sharing these. At first glance, I am particularly intrigued by Twelve Years a Slave and Only God Forgives.
ReplyDeleteNo problem! And I forgot Terrence Malick might have 2 films coming out this year! That's a major oversight.
DeleteI want to see all of these, 'specially Twelve Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street (Matty M!), Before Midnight and Only God Forgives. My other most anticipated films are The Great Gatsby, The Dallas Buyer's Club and Don Jon's Addiction (yay, JGL!)
ReplyDeleteHaha. I want to see those three films as well. Fingers crossed for a McConaughey Oscar nomination (especially if he doesn't get one for Magic Mike)!
