Movie Song of the Week

This week I’ve chosen a track from 1999’s Go, which notably featured Len’s “Steal My Sunshine”. However, I’ve gone for No Doubt’s “New”, written by Tom Dumont and Gwen Stefani. The songs in the film were never going to be serious awards players, but it would’ve been nice to see a few mentions. Check out the song below.

  1. I didn't like that song when it first came out. Now, as I'm older, it's one of my favorite songs by No Doubt and certainly one of their underrated singles.

    1. It was overlooked, but it's a good track. Probably one of my favorite No Doubt ones, too.

  3. New was one of my favorite songs of that part of my life. LOL. Go was the first R-rated movie I bought (because I was in love with Katie Holmes and was praying that 'R' meant boobs) and the music in the film is just so great!

    1. Ha, you should've waited and bought The Gift instead. ;)
