    1. Oh, I've ranked these form best to worst. These aren't my predictions. I'd rank Gravity #1 and 12 Years #2 if I were predicting them here.

  2. Gravity at no. 1 and 12 Years a Slave at no.4... that's a surprise... I think 12 Years a Slave will bag the top honor of Best Picture but Gravity will no doubt will a number of awards in technical categories.

    1. I might've misinterpreted your comments, but I think 12 Years is the most likely film to win apart from Gravity. These rankings are from best to worst and don't reflect my predictions.

  3. Great picks man. Love seeing Fass and Lupita make the top cut. Very interesting to see Gravity rank near the bottom of Best Cinematography though. But hey, it was a great year for great looking films!

    1. Thanks pal! Gravity is an interesting case. Since a lot of it relies on visual effects, I'm not as keen on rewarding its cinematography. I do nominate Lubezki for To the Wonder, though.

  4. Thank you so much for being the only person on the internet who realizes that Sandra Bullock's performance is better than Cate Blanchett's!

    1. Haha, Blanchett gives a great performance, but Bullock is phenomenal! Though, neither performance actually made my Best Actress lineup. I nominate Juliette Binoche (Camille Claudel 1915), Suzanne Clement (Laurence Anyways), Emilie Duquenne (Our Children), Adele Exarchopoulos (Blue is the Warmest Color), and Danai Gurira (Mother of George) ahead of them.
