First Favorite Films of Each Year: Part 2

Still one of my favorites.

Most of these original favorites I saw before the age of 10, so there are a lot of Disney titles. This post covers the 1960's through the 1980's. I'll have Part 3 up next week, probably.

Tomorrow I'm posting my 2007 ballot, which represents one of my favorite years in cinema. However, I left out a lot of films I love, and I wanted to acknowledge them beforehand.

First Favorite Films of Each Year: Part 1

A favorite from the start.

It's interesting how my favorite films have changed over time. I've seen new films and rewatched old ones, which makes my first favorites very different from my current ones. Given those changes, I wanted to see what my original favorites looked like. Here's a look at my first favorites from the 1930s-1950s. (Some of them are favorites from childhood, while others are ones I saw in recent years.)

My Reaction to Lee Daniels' The Butler in GIFs

I've tried to gather my thoughts on Lee Daniels' latest film, but it was a bit messy. While it's not a terrible film, it was all over the place tonally. It never found its footing, making my reaction quite varied throughout the course of the film. Here's the best I can do in GIFs.

Films I Saw in August

The Cranes are Flying

Despite going some days without watching a film, I managed to see a lot again last month.
