  1. Editors are definitely the 'unsung heroes' of movie making, their vision are often as crucial as the directors, if not more so. French Connection deserved its win, but I didn't know Hackman's other film The Conversation wasn't even nominated. That's a great one too, and it's quite a different role for him, much more understated but effective.

  2. 1974 is such a tough year. So many classic films. The Conversation is a perfect choice, but I may be forced to go with Chinatown. Or Godfather II. Hell, who knows.

    1. Thanks man! 1974: I'd be happy with any of those winners. It's a tough year in general though. Like Best Actor. Falk, Hackman, Hoffman, Josephson, Nicholson, Pacino, Wilder... So much to choose from.
