BOO! You did better than me :-P At least I predicted Haneke early! LOL, I'm surprised I didn't at least predict Animated Film early on. I'm doing that this year. I spent last month tracking down nearly EVERY film being released this year so I'm currently editing that down to find my predictions. We should post our predictions back to back on April 1st!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm surprised I did that well given how crazy this awards season has been. April 1st? Works for me. :)
DeleteI wonder if anyone actually got the Best Director category right. I sure as hell didn't. I wish we would've seen The Dark Knight Rises get nominated for anything.
ReplyDeleteTDKR is just another anomaly this Oscar season. Even Batman Begins managed ONE nomination.
DeleteYou still did pretty well!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThey really screwed us over with the Dark Knight Rises :)
ReplyDeleteYeah. It at least deserved some nominations in the tech categories.
DeleteIt's a bummer TDKR got barely any noms. And I'd have loved to see John Hawkes being nominated as well, and yeah, no brainer about Affleck but he seems to be having a ball winning everything else, so don't shed a tear for him, ahah.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Well, Affleck will likely win a second Oscar, so I won't be bothered by it. ;) Of course, we'll never know if the film would've won all these awards if he HAD been nominated for Best Director.
DeleteGreat post! It's interesting to see how your predictions have played out.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'll be posting early ones for next year in the coming weeks.
