Top 10 Favorite CinSpec Acting Classes

Ingrid Bergman is in two of my favorite classes.

I've compiled a list of my favorite groups of personal acting winners by year. These are essentially based on each individual performance and how it compares the rest of the "class" of that year, though making this list wasn't an exact science. It was hard to narrow it down to ten, but here are my favorites right now.

Note: Names rotate clockwise in the photos.

10. 1943
(Bogart, Bergman, Coburn, Baxter)

9. 2006
(Law, Cruz, Mackie, Kikuchi)

8. 1999
(Winstone, Belmont, Cruise, Kidman)

7. 1940
(Grant, Leigh, Morgan, Hussey)

6. 1958
(Stewart, Taylor, Martin, Hiller)

5. 2014
(Hoffman, Dorval, Mendelsohn, Wasikowska)

4. 1967
(Newman, Deneuve, Hackman, Bancroft)

3. 1990
(Baldwin, Dern, Oldman, Bening)

2. 1993
(Thewlis, Binoche, Fiennes, Paquin)

1. 1946
(Stewart, Bergman, Rains, Bacall)

  2. I wish I knew which movies go with which performance, I only knew a few of them. WOW, your #1 pick of Stewart, Bergman, Rains, Bacall is full of four amazing performers. I also love your 1943 pick w/ the two leads of Casablanca!

    2. Thank you for that list!! Would you include it in your future acting classes posts? Oooh totally agree w/ It's a Wonderful Life. Boy I still need to see Three Colors, esp since I love Binoche too. Speaking of Binoche, stay tuned for my review of 'Clouds of Sils Maria.'

  3. Yesssss love these lineups! Great number one. Also, our 1993 lineup is almost the same, except I have Hunter for The Piano instead of Binoche, but Binoche is perfect in Blue.
