That's a lot of films. Off the top of my head I mostly saw a lot of b-movies, plus the recent Godzilla, When Worlds Collide, the surprisingly good film noir Act of Violence and the less interesting Mystery Street (basically imagine the show Bones if it were made in the 1940's and didn't have any strong female characters and you basically have that movie).
ReplyDeleteYeah, I usually see at least 50 films a month. Oh, I really want to see Act of Violence. I love film noir, and I hear Robert Ryan is great in it.
DeleteAs always...impressive and envy inducing list.
ReplyDeleteThanks man!
DeleteOnce again, impressive number of films you saw in a month!
ReplyDeleteVery curious about The Quiet Man, been hearing great things about that one.
Ha, I was more surprised that I didn't rewatch one single film last month.
DeleteOh, I just loved The Quiet Man. It's a delightful romance set in Ireland. You should check it out.
Again, a lot of movies you watched! Vivre Sa Vie impressed me too, it's really different to films made today.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to bump "Ride the High Country" up my queue of westerns :)
Vivre Sa Vie was great. I loved Karina's performance.
DeleteOh, Ride the High Country was a pleasant surprise. I only nominate it for Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score, but it was so close to getting a slew of nominations. :)
That's an impressive list! Would you recommend The Black Swan? It's been on my radar for a while.
ReplyDeleteOh and we've added The Cinematic Spectacle to our blog roll!

Thanks, Allie! It's the Black Swan film from the 1940's about pirates. If that sounds interesting, I'd recommend it. If you mean the Natalie Portman one, I'd recommend it more, as it's my favorite film of 2010.
