Five Favorite Franchises in Five Words

It's the time of year when franchise films, like the recent Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2, are released. Here's a quick look at my five favorite long-running ones.

Harry Potter
Wondrous.

Indiana Jones
Action-packed.

James Bond
Cool.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Rollicking.

Star Wars
Epic.

  1. Great choices! I agree with every one (Even though Skyfall is the only bond film I've seen in one sitting, but that was pretty damn cool)

  2. I feel so ashamed that I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies...and then again, I've never seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies either. Does this make me a heathen?

    1. Haha. Nah, it probably helps that I read the Harry Potter books. Though, I started reading them after I'd already seen the first film.

    1. Haha, yeah, I haven't done one because I don't really like doing one on films I watch for my weekly ballot, and I haven't seen many new releases lately. :)

  4. Aww this is a sweet post. Harry Potter movies are wondrous indeed. Happy to see POC here. At one point, I would've gone nuts for them but I do want them to stop making those movies though.

    1. Thanks so much! Though the POC sequels aren't as good as the first film, I do love those movies. :)
