I would put Before Midnight in the Best Adapted Screenplay category while I would also give The Bling Ring for Best Cinematography and (maybe) Best Costume Design.
ReplyDeleteSame here, but I don't think The Bling Ring will get an Oscar nominations.
DeleteOMFG, if The Counselor double dips that would be amazing! I'm reworking my predictions tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI might be going overboard, but I'd love it! Cruz does look promising, so I could see her and Diaz getting in.
DeleteOh having read script I really don't think Cruz will get in for Consuelor, she really is quite useless there, more of a plot device than actual character. Diaz's role is the exact opposite of that, though - I hope she nails that one.
ReplyDeleteReally? I'll keep that in mind when I update my predictions again then. Best Supporting Actress is usually a weak category at this stage, so I'm struggling to find a decent lineup to predict.
DeleteInteresting choices. I'm really hoping Cameron Diaz impresses.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Me too. I'd love to see her get a nomination.
