Movie Song of the Week

This week’s song is the acoustic version of a track featured in the film You Instead, or Tonight You’re Mine in the U.S. Directed by David Mackenzie (of Starred Up fame), the romantic drama features a lot of original music, as it follows two musicians who are handcuffed together for one long night at a festival. The film is a charming little romp, but it was ignored during the awards season. While the stars Luke Treadaway and Natalia Tena co-wrote some of the songs, “You Instead” was actually written by Treadaway alone. Check out the song below.
