Macbeth is upon us. |
Not much has changed since last month's predictions, but one big development is that Macbeth is now slated for a fall release this year. I'm predicting it in several categories, as it could become a major player. There's also a good chance that Suffragette, which stars Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep, could be released this year. I've included it in my predictions for now.

Great predictions bro! I'll be updating mine on the first. This year looks so rich!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks pal! I can't wait to see how Macbeth does this awards season (if it does come out).
DeleteI'm not sure about Big Eyes - I read some early reactions and it's not looking good :/
ReplyDeleteYikes! Still, the Academy doesn't always nominate the best films of the year. ;)
DeleteHi Josh! Nice to see Norton's name popping up here, seems like he's been sort of under the radar. The last time I saw him was in Grand Budapest Hotel, so this time he's playing supporting roles again eh? Dawn of the Planet of the Apes looks positively riveting, I'm quite anticipating that one!
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth! I really hope Norton has a shot at getting his third nomination. Oh, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes looks awesome! I wasn't expecting much, but the latest trailers have made me very excited!
DeleteSolid list man. I'd love it if the Oscar noms looked like that. One question: is Macbeth getting a 2014 release? I thought it was set of '15. But I hope it is indeed this year. Can't wait for that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks man. I'm just hoping for Fassy and Cotillard nominations.
DeleteYeah, it looks like Macbeth is being released this year. The link below says "producers are shooting for October delivery."

Plus, IMDb lists it in '14 and in post-production since early April. It looks like they're trying to get it out this year.
Oh man, that is GREAT news. Honestly had no idea.
DeleteI REALLY hope we get to see it this year.
