  1. I'm rather shocked that both Binoche and Crowe and #2 in their respective decades!

And BOOO at Portman being #1, especially over Cuaron...but I know that you love that film and performance far more than I do.

    1. Me too, but #2 is pretty high! No doubt, they'd top my favorite actors who've won Oscars list.

Haha, I knew you wouldn't be happy about Portman's spot. What can I say? I'm a fan. :/

  2. Atonement and Once deserved their music wins. I thought using the type writer in the score in Atonement was genius. There's so many wins I love here! Great post!

  4. I don’t have a specific comment for any of your ‘70s picks. They’re all just awesome.

Kevin Kline’s win… ahh, remember when the Oscars gave awards to comedic performances like that?

Have you seen Binoche’s win on YouTube? Lauren Bacall is SO mad. Like, fuming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLjmshg_0Fo

I will forever hold Cotillard’s win in my heart.

    1. The '70s had some of the best Oscar wins ever.

Kline's win is so odd, but awesome, nonetheless.

Haha. Yeah, Bacall really wanted it. (Though, she should've already won for something in the past.) Binoche killed it in The English Patient, though.

Cotillard's win is just brilliant. The Academy got it right that year.
