First Favorite Films of Each Year: Part 2

Still one of my favorites.

Most of these original favorites I saw before the age of 10, so there are a lot of Disney titles. This post covers the 1960's through the 1980's. I'll have Part 3 up next week, probably.

  1. I love that this list really shows what movies you were watching at the time ;-)

  2. I hope the horse's head from scene in The Godfather didn't give you nightmares, when you were a kid :)
A few of my childhood favorites on that list. Robin Hood I watched again a couple years ago, and it didn't do it for me. 3 of those (ET, Back to the Future, and NeverEnding Story) are still in my top 200, though.

    1. Haha. I saw The Godfather when I was 13 or 14, so I was fine at that point. The Terminator was a different story. ;)

I love that those 3 films are still in your top 200. I actually own about half of these on DVD and even more counting VHS tapes.

  3. Love the diversity here. Hell, I haven't even heard of The Apple Dumpling Gang. Worth checking out?

    1. Thanks. I haven't seen The Apple Dumpling Gang in years. Hmm... It's a Disney family film about a group of kids who find gold and get mixed up with two inept outlaws. If you're curious, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, I'm not sure it would be worth your time. :/

  4. Nice picks Josh. Love that you put down Sound of Music for 1965. I can't believe I still haven't seen Mary Poppins, better get on that!
