  1. Oh My God, I think I saw 5 movies in February ;P Glad to see such a high rating for Shame and you saw Side Effects twice - that must be one great movie!

    1. Shame gets better with each viewing. I'd even nominate Fassbender for it now. :) Side Effects could potentially be on my list at the end of the year. I'm very close to giving it 4 stars.

  2. Lots of good stuff you watched this month. I loved the opening of A Matter of Life and Death.Eraserhead it's such a unique experience, especially for sound.

Glad you got to see all those documentaries, and liked most of them.

I really should give season 1 of Life's Too Short a go, since I loved Johnny Depp and Liam Neeeson interviews from that.

    1. I love the A Matter of Life and Death opening as well, and the sound in Eraserhead contributes greatly to the atmosphere of the film.

Yeah, I've tried to see more documentaries, as I tend to skip them for narrative features.

I liked Life's Too Short, but it's a step down from The Office and Extras. Those interviews are two of my favorite scenes from the series.

  3. Sooo many movies, Josh! Oh, I haven't seen A Matter of Life and Death, but it's your top movie of February then? I quite like Niven, I should give that a look.

    1. It's a nice little fantasy, with Powell and Pressburger's wonderful use of color and great performances. If you like Niven, I think you'd enjoy it.
