  1. I haven't seen Call Me By Your Name yet, but I prefer Stuhlbarg as an actor over Hammer so I hope he gets that nomination instead.

    1. Lol, maybe Stuhlbarg gets in. Maybe they both do.

  2. I think this list looks spot-on for what might be the Oscar nods although I think Tiffany Haddish might be the wildcard for the Best Supporting Actress nod for Girl's Night since she did win that honor by the New York Film Critics Circle which was a huge surprise.

    1. She deserves a nomination, but I don't think she'll get in. :(

  3. I'm surprised Denis isn't in best director for Blade Runner, I'd also give it costume design and makeup noms too, and I saw Shape today, AMAZ-BALLZ

    1. Denis should TOTALLY get a Director nom. Alas...

I can't wait to see The Shape of Water!

    2. All I can see is a trinity of actress, and supporting actor and actress noms for Hawkins, Spencer, and I can't choose between Stuhlbarg, Jenkins, or Shannon (I'm nominate all 3!)

    3. I'm not sure what to think of Supporting Actor now. And I'm not sure if Spencer will get in or not.

  4. PTA and Nolan are overdue oscars for directing. Maybe it's their time!

    1. I thought Nolan would win Director, but now I'm a little hesitant. And I don't see PTA getting a nom for Phantom Thread.
