  1. Nice to see you were won over by Shakira's song, I agree it's the best movie song from the first half of 2016. Go Now by Adam Levine might be runner-up for me.
My pick for best original score is The Neon Demon by Cliff Martinez, though I haven't seen Midnight S. Look forward to seeing Demolition and The Witch!

    1. I still need to see The Neon Demon. Isn't there an original Sia track from it? I'm behind on original song contenders, so that one could replace "Try Everything".

Curious to hear your thoughts on Demolition. Most critics were down on it, but I loved it.

    2. The Sia track is used in the end credits and failed to impress me, but I love The Neon Demon title track by Cliff Martinez from the opening credits.

    3. Can't wait to see it!

I saw Sing Street by the way, and it's now my Best Original Song winner for "Up". ;)

  2. LOL, I've seen Zootopia and Finding Dory and The Jungle Book.

    That's it.

    I'm so ashamed.

  4. Hello Josh! YES on Zootopia! Such a spectacular movie that's much deeper than meets the eye. Alden Ehrenreich was definitely the scene stealer of Hail, Caesar!

    1. Hi Ruth! Zootopia is SO good. I'm hoping Ehrenreich can at least hang on for a CinSpec nom in the end. He was hilarious in that movie.

  5. The Witch is definitely the best movie of this year thus far...followed closely by Swiss Army Man! Great picks! #LiveDeliciously

  6. Very excellent stuff here. Even Alden Ehrenreich is a nice choice. I was not a fan of Hail, Caesar! but Ehrenreich was the film's brightest spot.

    1. Thanks. I've got my fingers crossed that he stays in my top 5 by the time I'm ready to post my final ballot next year. It's a great comedic performance.
