My ballot is pretty much complete, since I've now seen Leviathan, Winter Sleep, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Song of the Sea, and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. DeleteI agree Winter Sleep had some good writing, deserves praise for the screenplay.
ReplyDeleteJust I don't think it will appeal to a big audience because of the draining 3 hour running time and how dialogue-heavy it is.
Glad you agree on the strength of the writing. The film is very talky, but I loved every minute of it. Not everyone will, though.
