Early Oscar Predictions Results

"You'll do better next year, my dear."

Since I first predicted the Oscar nominations nine months ago, I wanted to see how wrong I was, and I was VERY wrong. I did better in the two previous years, especially in the 2012 race. Here are my original predictions and how I did.

*Note: If I'd predicted 5 nominees, I would've predicted Big Hero 6, but I would've missed one of the GKIDS films.*

Results: None of these countries were nominated. (0/5)

Overall results: 28/101, or 27.7% (Yikes!)

  2. This is such an interesting read! Crazy how time and Oscar politics change the game. And the fact that movies turn out to be good or bad haha.
