51 Films Watched - 46 New, 5 Rewatched

  1. I'm glad you liked I Origins and God Help The Girl. I'm looking forward to Citizenfour. I hope it comes out on DVD before the Oscars air.

    1. Citizenfour was great. It'd be a solid Oscar winner, but I'd vote for Virunga.

  2. Again, I'm in awe...

  3. Wow! You are a prolific movie viewer. I am looking forward to Whiplash and A Most Violent Year.

    1. I crammed in a lot last month, since I'm trying to get my top 10 list and 2014 CinSpec Awards posted ASAP. ;) Hope you like those two films!

  4. Happy to see love for Force Majeure, it's one of my favorites of 2014.
I've heard mixed things about Inherent Vice, I see you saw it twice, I'll be checking it out in Feb.
Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter looks intriguing

    1. Force Majeure is SO GOOD. I wish it'd made the Oscar lineup.

Inherent Vice isn't for everyone. I absolutely loved it both times, though. :)

Kumiko is pretty great. Hope you check it out.

  5. Utterly amazed you find time to watch so many films.

    1. I slowed down a bit recently, but last month I watched as many as I could, so I can get my year-end 2014 posts up soon.

  6. Wow, you've seen Inherent Vice twice? Very cool! I saw The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them but I might check out the Him/Her versions at some point. Again it's amazing how many you get to watch in a given month, Josh!

    1. Hey Ruth! The Him/Her versions of Eleanor Rigby are fantastic. (If you check them out, I'd watch Her first.) Inherent Vice is bonkers, but in the best way. :)

  7. Wow, you watched a lot! Glad you liked Whiplash! I was a big fan too.

    1. I'm doing my top 10 list and personal awards soon, so I watched as much as I could in preparation. :) Whiplash was great! Glad it landed those Oscar noms.
