  2. Wait, what? Rutger Hauer? How did I miss that? It totally blows me away that you gave him an acting award. It never crossed my mind that he did anything that wasn't super-duper cheesy, lol. Great post, once again.

    1. Thanks again, Wendell. Yeah, Rutger Hauer wins Best Supporting Actor for Blade Runner. LOVE his performance in that film.

    2. Oh, that's right he was in Blade Runner. I'm not a fan of that movie so I tend block out as much of it from memory as possible. I know, I know, bad me.

    3. Haha. Fair enough. I adore the director's cut, but no version of the film is for everyone.

  3. It is a downright TRAVESTY that Richard Burton never got an Oscar. Three nods in a row, four others, and still nothing?! For shame, Academy. I love that you gave him 3/3! :)

    1. Yay! It's so odd that he didn't at least win for Virginia Woolf, given his two previous nominations and the Academy's love for the film. It's a shame. After all, he didn't even get an honorary Oscar. If he'd lived longer, I suspect he would've at least been given an honorary one.
