September Oscar Predictions

Birdman looks like a strong contender.

Since last month's predictions, The Imitation Game and Birdman have received great early reviews. Both appear to be solid contenders, with Boyhood, Foxcatcher, Unbroken, Interstellar, and Gone Girl in tow. I'm not sure what to make of other contenders like Fury, Into the Woods, Selma, Wild, The Theory of Everything, Trash, and Inherent Vice. All of them could be nominated, though it's hard to tell which ones, if any, will land in Best Picture.
