Top 100 List Updated

My list has changed a lot since I last updated it six months ago. I've removed twenty films and added some new ones, along with a few titles that've spent some time on my list in the past. Also, I have a new film at #1, but it shouldn't be a surprising choice.

Ranking the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar Submissions

The Hunt is the arguable frontrunner.

In honor of this news, I took a foolhardy crack at ranking them according to the likelihood of being nominated. This was far from an exact science, and I kind of hope my bottom pick makes the cut in January. After all, this category is usually a crap shoot.

Top 10 College Songs

David Grellier (left) performing with Electric Youth.

Alex at And So It Begins... recently posted his updated top 10 M83 songs list, which offers him a lot of inspiration. I have the same connection with College, David Grellier's electronic act whose track "A Real Hero" (ft. Electric Youth) was famously used in Drive. If I want to be inspired, I listen to College. I go back and forth on the rankings, but I love every track on here. Enjoy!

First Favorite Films of Each Year: Part 3

Yeah, that's on here.

Most of the 1990's titles I saw on VHS, but the 2000's and 2010's are titles I saw in theaters. Note: All of my favorites are different now, which is a very good thing in most cases.
