  1. I've only seen The Bling Ring and Before Midnight from this list, but I have Upstream Color on my Netflix Instant queue (maybe next week) and have been planning on watching Stoker on VOD this week too.

    1. I really need to watch Upstream Color again, as I was slightly disappointed on the first viewing. I might catch Stoker this week too.

  2. Here's my list at the moment as it's based on 2013 films so there's no To the Wonder, Frances Ha, or Lore in that list as it's in the 2012 list. I downloaded Upstream Color but I had issues with the sound as I couldn't hear the dialogue. I'll probably rent the DVD or wait for it on TV as I'm eager to see that film.

    1. Nice list. The Great Gatsby was just outside of mine. I forgot about Behind the Candelabra, which I still need to see.

  3. Would The Place Beyond The Pines be in your top 20? Loved that film. I haven't seen enough 2013 releases to create a list yet.
I'm with you that What Richard Did is really good, but wasn't keen on To The Wonder, which is weird, because I LOVED Tree of Life.

    1. It was actually my #11, and I hated to leave it off. Maybe it will rank higher after I see it again.

Glad you also like What Richard Did. Yeah, To the Wonder is divisive, but I loved it both times I saw it.

  4. I really want to see Trance, somehow it escaped me in theaters. I'm gonna see Spring Breakers soon, hopefully it's as good as its soundtrack.

  5. Hi Josh! I keep seeing MUD on people's list, man I really need to see that movie!! I might do my list sometime later this month, for sure Side Effects won't be on it though, I just didn't really care for that one.
