  1. That's a nice list of films. I hope to see The Tin Drum next year as I plan to do an all Palme d'Or edition for next year's Cannes marathon.

    1. Thanks man. That's a great idea. I've only seen 25 of the winners, so I've got a lot left to see.

  2. I am so watching La Bete Humaine. If only for Simone Simon. It's amazing how many movies you watch in a month. I envy you and need to get to that level.

    1. This is the most I've ever seen in one month. Not sure I'll ever get back to this number. :) But some people on Letterboxd are going for 100 films in June. That's impressive.

  3. My goodness! The number of movies you saw always put mine to shame, Josh! 70 movies, wow!

Btw, are you going to review The Seventh Continent? The premise sounds very intriguing! Oh I LOVE The Abyss too, I actually own the Blu-ray.

    1. Haha. I was surprised too, until I saw that Toby at blahblahblahgay saw 116 last month.

Ooh, that's a great one to own on Blu-ray. Since you ask, I'll try to review The Seventh Continent this week. :)

  4. Good to see you loved The Seventh Continent, which I gave 9/10 on letterboxd.
I agree The Tin Drum is great, that young actor who played the boy I'll never forget.

Did you see the longer director's cut of The Abyss? it's actually a more haunting version of the film I think, and includes an unforgettable beach scene.

    1. Ha, I had a good month, but I want to know how some people can manage over 100. That's commitment.
