  1. I haven't seen any of these films nor do I want to though I have comments for a few of these films:

    1. Stop acting Shia. You're taking yourself too seriously. Just fuck off.

    2. Thanks Universal for making M83's score sound like everyone else's score.

    3. Shiloh Fernandez... can't act worth a shit.

    That is all.

    1. 1. Haha. I don't think he's a bad actor, actually, but he does take himself way too seriously.

      2. Yeah. They really dropped the ball there.

      3. Can't argue with that.

    1. I'd give it 4 stars. Great little film, with a fantastic leading performance by Jack Reynor. I'm hoping he'll make my ballot at the end of the year. He's starring in Transformers 4, so I hope his career takes off because of it.

  4. Have you seen "Trance"? Wanted to see how you would rate that in comparison to "Welcome to the Punch". On the fence on should I see it or not.

    1. I prefer Trance, but Mark Strong is very good in Welcome to the Punch.

      I'd rate them:

      Trance - 4/4 (or 4.5/5)
Welcome to the Punch - 3/4 (or 3.5/5)

  5. Awesome!! I'm so glad you continue this series Josh, I have yet to do my 2nd post yet :D

Hmmm, your word for The Company You Keep is worrisome. That's too bad as the cast is great.

    1. Thank so much Ruth! Can't wait to see what films you pick! :)

I actually liked the film overall (3/4 stars), but it's nothing special, especially compared to the many great political thrillers that've come before it.

  6. I haven't seen any of these. What Richard Did sounds like it's worth checking out.

    1. I'd highly recommend it. It's an intimate character study, and the lead actor is my current Best Actor pick.
