  1. Great post, Josh! I won't be watching the Oscars, but no doubt the results will be the first thing I look up online the next morning. Looking forward to seeing how your predictions play out.

  2. I will disagree with your Director and original screenplay. I think Spielberg will take Director and as much as I love Amour, I think ZDT will take the other one. Lets see who gets these right. :)

Supporting Actor is kinda up for grabs where pretty much anyone can win. So, there is no wrong answer really but I'll go with Waltz there.

I am not sure she will but I would LOVE to see Riva win. If not her, Chastain then.

    1. Haha, you might be right about that. :) I have them in 2nd place.

Waltz could easily win, but I think De Niro could garner greater support. Jones seems like the most viable option, to me at least.

Me too! Really hope one of them wins.

  3. I agree Joaquin Phoenix should win, just can't see it happening. He was robbed for Walk The Line, one of the best performances I can remember in recent years.

    1. I can't either. :( I love his performance in Walk the Line. Too bad he couldn't join Reese Witherspoon as a winner.

  5. I'd be happy to see that ARGO poster after the Oscar, I'm rooting for that for Best Picture! I'm with Chris about Joaquin's performance in Walk The Line. Can't believe Reese won and he didn't!!

    1. Yeah, I wish they could've won together. That would've been a great Oscar moment.

  6. Great picks man. Such a tough year to call. I think the tide has turned on Jones, and either Waltz or Bobby De will take it.

Also, I don't see Russell nabbing director. But damn, who the hell knows.

    1. Thanks man. I still think Jones can beat them by a narrow margin, but you might be right.

Ha! I know, right? Russell might not win, but I'm going with my gut.
