  1. Woah, that is a lot of movies! I'm not planning to see Cloud Atlas, but I finally saw Argo this week and it was really great.

    1. Yay! Glad you liked Argo. Initially, I love Cloud Atlas, but I want to see it again to find out whether or not it holds up on a second viewing.

  2. You've seen lots of new releases, I'm jealous! Oslo, August 31st I thought was really powerful, the director Joachim Trier's first film Reprise (2006) is also worth a look.

I pretty much watched two horror films a day for a while in October, so needless to say I got through a lot!

    1. Haha. I'm catching up, but I still have more to see from earlier this year. Reprise is on my watchlist.

Nice. I still have some horror films I want to see this month.

  4. Oh my goodness! How in the world do you have time to watch sooo many films?? There's no way I could do that with a full time job, ahah. Glad to see you see Dalton's Bond movies, though bummer you didn't rate 'em higher :(

    1. Well, being currently unemployed does have its advantages. ;)

Really liked them both, but I don't rate many Bond films 4 stars.

  5. I'm glad you didn't only see great films this month, a lot of films under 2.5 stars. Does this mean you pick badly or have high standards do you think?

I'm sad you didn't like Pirates! Band of Misfits. I guess you got the experience that I expected to have whereas I had an enjoyable time with it.

I haven't seen a single one of your "ten best" picks either.

    1. Probably high standards. Then again, sometimes you just really like a movie that you never thought you would (like Pitch Perfect) or vice versa (like Pirates! BOM).

I wanted to like Pirates!: BOM more, but it was a big letdown for me. I thought the story was a bit thin for a feature, and the trailer made it look much better.

Take your time, but I'd recommend seeing any of them you can. :)
