  2. I'm so jealous. I need to cram in more movies. I really didn't care for The Seven Year Itch, outside of Monroe. Good lord you watch a lot of movies!

    1. Sorry you didn't like Itch, but I just loved every minute of it.

I'm surprised I got through so many. Some days I don't watch anything, but the weekends help. I can usually get through 3 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday, which would make 24 alone in 4 weeks.

But 55 isn't that impressive. Tyler at Southern Vision saw 62 in August. That's two a day for cryin' out loud! :)

  3. Whoa, that's a TON of movies Josh, I'm jealous!

I should watch a Marilyn Monroe film one of these days, after seeing My Week With Marilyn, I became more curious about her. I think I'd go with Some Like It Hot first.

  4. As Ruth said above, I also watched My Week With Marilyn recently, and it may inspire me to look into her best films. I haven't seeen The Seven Year Itch. Which other ones are good with Monroe, do you think?

    1. Some Like It Hot, Bus Stop, and The Misfits are essential performances from Monroe. I also loved her performance in River of No Return, but it's not universally liked. Hope that helps, Chris. :)

  5. Gosh that's a lot of films in one month Josh! And I haven't seen most of them... Now, here's proof of how much you loved American Psycho (yes!). Glad to see TDKR being fully appreciated, I think everyone should see it at least twice to get it right. And The Awful Truth - one of my favorite screwball comedies, so good.

Oh and nice that you liked The Bourne Legacy, I was wondering if it was worth watching it in the theatres?

    1. I've seen TDKR four times. It's definitely better on repeated viewings. And The Awful Truth is hilarious. :)

I don't think you necessarily have to see The Bourne Legacy in theaters. I think it will play just as well on a smaller screen.
