Deja Vu was the movie I didn't like but Washington always gives good performances so it wasn't a complete distaster for me.s.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13987831438787776712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-49067131310790689082012-08-23T11:07:11.355-04:002012-08-23T11:07:11.355-04:00Other than the dress example that Tippi mentioned,...Other than the dress example that Tippi mentioned, I didn't notice any plot holes. I'd call that more of a quip than a plot hole though. Granted, I could've missed something. :)Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08596682195753811295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-37216560105698018702012-08-23T11:05:00.142-04:002012-08-23T11:05:00.142-04:00I agree on Washington's and Fanning's perf...I agree on Washington's and Fanning's performances, and I realize I'm in the minority on Deja Vu. :)Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08596682195753811295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-91598360790128128902012-08-23T11:04:05.863-04:002012-08-23T11:04:05.863-04:00On the bandages, I think they can get away with th...On the bandages, I think they can get away with that because you could argue that he had been there in the past from the future, so it made sense. It repeated the cycle, if you get what I mean.

The dress thing bothered me too, but other than that, I really enjoyed the film.Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08596682195753811295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-39249877881785588932012-08-23T10:31:32.182-04:002012-08-23T10:31:32.182-04:00I haven't seen either of these, though my hubb...I haven't seen either of these, though my hubby has talked about Man on Fire. I'll skip Deja Vu based on the plot holes. I love stories with time travel, but the inconsistencies would really bug me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-49661813118975405052012-08-23T08:56:54.666-04:002012-08-23T08:56:54.666-04:00Yeah, I'm with Tippy...I kind of HATED Deja Vu...Yeah, I'm with Tippy...I kind of HATED Deja Vu. I actually LOVED Man on Fire and consider it an undervalued gem of an action film...and like, Fanning's performance is aces as is Washington's.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5030627662498151745.post-83225949868641156732012-08-23T06:40:14.155-04:002012-08-23T06:40:14.155-04:00(Deja Vu Spoilers)
I haven't seen Man on Fir...(Deja Vu Spoilers)

I haven't seen Man on Fire, but I would give it a win solely based on the time travel plot holes of Deja Vu. It didn't make any SENSE. In the beginning/original timeline, he finds his own bloody bandages that wouldn't have been at the dead woman's house, since he didn't save her/wouldn't have been there! And for some reason she's wearing the dress she put on AFTER he SAVED her when he went back in time!

That could've been a really interesting concept if they had given it a little more thought and cleaned up the inconsistencies.Tippihttp://www.onthescreenreviews.comnoreply@blogger.com
